Jacksonville police looking for ‘bonnet bandit’ accused of stealing cases of alcohol

Jacksonville police said it’s looking for help from the public to find a man they said stole several cases of alcohol from a store. It happened Aug. 29 at a convenience store on Edgewood Avenue North, a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office social media post states.

The man, pictured in a surveillance photo wearing a bright pink bonnet, entered the store, grabbed several cases of alcohol, and left the store without paying, police said.

“We’re hoping with a headpiece as unique as this one, someone will know who he is,” police stated in the social media post…
