JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A man was hospitalized Sunday night after a bizarre incident that began with a fight at a Southside apartment complex pool, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
JSO said officers were called around 8 p.m. to the report of a battery at the pool in the Ciel Luxury Apartments on Skyway Drive near Southside and J. Turner Butler boulevards.
Officers separated the people involved in the fight as soon as they got to the scene. They said one of the people was found at a nearby apartment unit, but when officers tried to take him into custody, he “began resisting officers.”…
