City council committees greenlight proposal to help JTA pay down debt

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Four Jacksonville city council committees have greenlit a proposal to help the Jacksonville Transportation Authority pay off its debt.

Starting Monday in the Neighborhoods, Community Services, Public Health and Safety Committee, the JTA CEO and CFO led a budget presentation. CFO Randall Barnes provided some insight on what went wrong with JTA’s budget.
