JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – A Jacksonville man is facing a felony animal cruelty charge after a dog was found dead inside his car, which had been submerged in Julington Creek at a popular public boat launch earlier this month.
It started with an anonymous tip.
Someone visiting Hood Landing Public Kayak Launch on Oct. 10 spotted what appeared to be a car trunk just beneath the water’s surface at the end of the boat ramp and called it in to Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office, the arrest report said…
