The cost of rent in Jacksonville, Florida has dropped more than anywhere else in the country, according to a new study. Using the Waller, Weeks and Johnson Rental Index, researchers at Florida Atlantic University and two other schools, measured the average rent in the 100 most populated metropolitan areas in the U.S. and compared those figures with what rents should be based on historical data.
