Florida Woman Accused of Luring Uber Driver, Passenger to Fatal Shooting Pleads to Be Released From Jail: ‘Have Mercy on Me’

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that the victim was targeted for ‘ongoing gang beef and issues’

A Florida woman accused of taking part in a murder scheme by allegedly luring a young man and an Uber driver to their deaths has asked the court to release her.

Diamond Harris, 23, allegedly helped her boyfriend, Ju’Quan Mills, lure Antonio Tillie, 19, to the location of the fatal shooting on October 19, 2023, First Coast News reported .

Tillie was shot inside an Uber driven by Bryant Grund, 31, when the vehicle arrived at the location. Grund was also killed during the shooting.

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said that Tillie was targeted for “ongoing gang beef and issues.”

Mills reportedly told the police he was paid $10,000 for shooting Tillie, while another unidentified shooter earned an additional $10,000 for the crime.

Harris was charged with accessory to the murders after she allegedly communicated with Tillie over texts and calls before his death.

Investigators who searched Mills’ phone said that he told Harris to continue texting Tillie to “keep him interested in seeing her” and bring him to the shooting site.
