NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, Fla. – A Fernandina Beach man is dead after striking a truck on U.S. 17 at approximately 6:04 a.m., according to a Florida Highway Patrol report. The report said a motorcycle driven by a 63-year-old Fernandina Beach man was traveling northbound on U.S. 17 near Quail Ridge Road.
