One More Frugal Cruising Option In Florida As A Florida Cruise Port Welcomes A Budget Cruise Ship

Some would argue that a cruise is a very convenient and cost-effective vacation. After all, you merely need to show up and your food, board, and entertainment (other than excursions) are covered. You don’t need to drive anywhere. You don’t need to keep switching hotel rooms or seek out multiple restaurants. Everything you need is theoretically on the ship.

Floridians who enjoy cruising are arguably fortunate because there are ample ports so that most people have relatively easy access to one. For example, Florida has seven ports, in Port Canaveral, Riviera Beach, Key West, Miami, Ft. Lauderdale, Jacksonville, Port of Palm Beach, and Tampa.

Additionally, Floridians are able to enjoy trips from cruise lines like Princess Cruises, Celebrity Cruises, Royal Caribbean, Viking Ocean Cruises, Holland America, and Norwegian Cruise Line, to name just a handful of examples.

However, some ports are busier and offer more variety than others. Until now, one port only offered one cruise line option. That’s about to change – because a new cruise line was just approved and Floridians will get some new options.
