5-Star, Popular FL Sub Shop Temporarily Closed Down By A State Inspection Appears To Be Reopened

Sure, those from up north will sometimes call what would be called a sub in Florida a “grinder” or a “hoagie,” but most people can arguably agree that a sandwich makes a delicious, often nutritionally balanced and inexpensive meal.

Unfortunately, one of Florida’s popular submarine shops was temporarily closed down by a state inspection but it appears to be reopened.

About Clarke Bros Subs: This establishment’s website is very basic, but according to The Florida Times Union, this joint opened in 2023. Popular choices are its cheesesteak, its Cubans, and its cheesy bacon tots.

The shop has racked up 5 shaded star ratings by Jacksonville patrons on both Yelp and Google reviews as of this writing, which is arguably impressive since only a few negative reviews can lower ratings.
