SAVANNAH, Ga. (WSAV) – Sgt. Kennedy Sanders will arrive tomorrow at the airport in Jacksonville, FL and then be transported home to the city of Waycross.
Officials say the public is allowed to show its support for the family by lining the route she will take to her hometown.
Representatives for the city of Waycross released a statement saying, “Your support and solidarity in welcoming Kennedy home will undoubtedly bring comfort and pride to her and her loved ones. Your presence will serve as a powerful expression of our community’s unwavering respect and appreciation for all those who serve in the military.”
The planned route is:

• Lem Turner
• Right on US 1
• US 1 into Waycross
• US 1/Memorial Drive to Lee Avenue
• Left on Lee Avenue
• Lee Avenue to Howe Street
• Right on Howe Street
• Left on Eads Street
• Left on Marion Street
• Left on Lee Avenue
• Left on Corridor Z
• Corridor Z to Victory Drive
• Left on Victory Drive
• Right on Wadley
• Right on Anita
