JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office said a woman has died from gunshot wounds after she was found by police in downtown Jacksonville. At approximately 11:50 p.m. Friday, patrol officers responded to the 900 block of Kings Road to a person shot. The woman was shot somewhere else and stopped to find help, police said. The victim was taken to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead.
