Emperors Gentlemen’s Club dining area in Jacksonville, FL, cited for 15 violations – Duval County

The dining area at the Emperors Gentlemen’s Club in Jacksonville, Florida, recently faced a thorough inspection by the Florida Department of Business & Professional Regulation, where inspectors highlighted several areas needing improvement.

Located at 4923 University Blvd W in Duval County, this establishment was cited for 15 violations, prompting a follow-up inspection to ensure compliance.

This Is What Happened During The Inspection: The inspection on August 2 revealed one high-priority issue with the club operating on an expired license, which was promptly addressed on-site.

Meanwhile, intermediate violations included food-contact surfaces with residue, a lack of certified food managers on duty, and inadequate handwashing facilities.

Basic infractions were multiple, with damaged ceiling tiles, soiled vents, and missing floor tiles in disrepair. The kitchen and bar areas showed signs of neglect, with standing water, debris accumulation, and grease build-up on nonfood-contact surfaces.

Additionally, proper storage for wet mops was not observed, and light shields in the kitchen were missing.
