JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Historic Five Points just became even brighter. A vibrant and colorful rainbow crosswalk was painted over the weekend on Lomax Street in 5 Points. The crosswalk was painted by HeartspaceArt with assistance from the Riverside Avondale Preservation (RAP). According to Cre8jax, placemaking specialist Kandice Knecole, Jacksonville City Council member Jimmy Peluso and The Aids Memorial Project of Northeast Florida also helped bring the creation to life.
