Video of Tyreek Hill’s Pregame Arrest Emerges Before Jaguars-Dolphins Clash

Miami Dolphins star wide receiver Tyreek Hill had a rocky start to his 2024-25 NFL campaign after being arrested and subsequently released Sunday morning in Miami, Florida, ahead of the Dolphins’ Week 1 matchup with the Jacksonville Jaguars .

According to ESPN’s Jeff Darlington , Hill was cited for reckless driving after being pulled over for speeding on his way to the stadium.

The situation escalated when Hill and a police officer had a verbal altercation, leading to Hill being detained and placed in handcuffs. A video of the incident, which occurred outside Hard Rock Stadium, quickly surfaced online.

Drew Rosenhaus , Tyreek Hill’s agent, stated that his client intends to play in the Dolphins’ home opener despite the controversy, with high expectations surrounding a team brimming with talent. Rosenhaus said they were extremely “distraught” about the entire situation. He added that it was “completely unnecessary.”
