The first week of October is a big one for Publix Super Markets Inc. shoppers in the Deerwood and Queen’s Harbour areas. The Lakeland-based grocery store company intends to close its Deerwood Village shopping center store Oct. 5 at 9964 Old Baymeadows Road so it can tear it down and build a new one.
