JACKSONVILLE, FL – Today stays mostly cloudy and some showers will push across areas through the morning and afternoon. Rain accumulations will be lighter mainly under a .25″ with breezy NE winds. The winds decrease this afternoon with a switch to NW as Potential Tropical Cyclone 8 shifts into North Carolina this afternoon. It is not likely to get named a tropical storm but it will keep the moisture close to us for several days.
