A Jacksonville man is the latest million-dollar winner in a Florida Lottery scratch-off game .
Kenneth Somers, 65, claimed a $1 million prize in the lottery’s Florida 300X the Cash game Friday in Jacksonville, the Florida Lottery announced. Sommers opted to collect his winnings as a one-time, lump-sum payment of $695,500.
The $30 scratch-off game features more than $1 billion in cash prizes, including four top prizes of $15 million. Somers’ winning ticket is one of 24 with a $1 million prize.

Somers purchased the winning ticket at a Jacksonville Publix store at 12620-12 Beach Blvd., which will receive a $2,000 bonus commission, the Florida Lottery said in a news release.
