Publix Is Having A Grand Reopening Of A Highly-Rated Florida Store With A Freebie For Customers

If you are a Floridian, you probably already know that it is not unusual for Publix to demolish and then rebuild older stores in order to provide modern updates and new amenities. I’ve written about Fort Myers, Lakeland, and St. Petersburg stores that were knocked down for new stores. And now a rebuilt Jacksonville store will be reopening with a freebie for customers who want to see the new store upon grand reopening.

About Jacksonville’s Harbour Place Shopping Center Teardown And October 3rd Reopening: Way back in the summer of 2023, Publix filed permits for a $7.11 million rebuild after the demolition of the Publix store located at 13170 Atlantic Boulevard in the Harbour Place Shopping Center.

The new store was listed at 56,433 square feet. And the Publix in question shut its doors in July of 2024 so that the new Publix could be built.

The new store will reportedly be a bit different as the deli and bakery departments will be moved to the left corner of the store and will include some seating for those who want to enjoy their Pub subs in-store.
