I often write about job losses in Florida. There have been some Florida-based companies who have laid off employees recently, including Badcock as well as Winn Dixie (whose parent company is headquartered in Jacksonville.) And now, the company has announced that it is laying off more jobs.

In September of 2024, Jabil announced that it was going to invest $238 million to open a new manufacturing site in Tiruchirappalli, India, which is expected to create 5,000 jobs.
Jabil also has a 516,000-square-foot manufacturing site in Croatia.
