An early yesterday morning tragedy occurred on Interstate 95 near Pecan Park Road when a 25-year-old woman and a 3-year-old girl were killed in a head-on, wrong-way collision. According to News4Jax, three other children in the SUV-a 5-year-old girl, a 2-year-old girl, and a 1-year-old boy-sustained serious injuries and were also from Jacksonville. The Florida Highway Patrol (FHP) indicated that none of the SUV’s passengers were wearing seatbelts at the time of the crash.
