An escaped inmate with ties to Jacksonville has been captured in St. Johns County, the Walton County Sheriff’s Office said. Walton County Sheriff’s Office and Office of the City Marshal, DeFuniak Springs Police responded to a call regarding an escaped prisoner John Kiedrowski III from Walton Correctional Institution Friday. The sheriff’s office announced his arrest 6:30 a.m. Monday. He was booked in St. Johns County Monday at 12:28 a.m.
