JACKSONVILLE, Fla. (WFLA) — K9s from different law enforcement agencies in Florida showed off their skills at the third Law Enforcement K9 Competition over the weekend.
K9s United hosted the competition in Jacksonville on Saturday, Nov. 16 at Bishop Kenny High School.
In the video, K9s and their handlers are seen showing off the skills they have learned during training.
“Attendees will have the opportunity to witness the fearless dogs in action as K9 law enforcement teams from across the state of Florida compete in a timed obstacle course to showcase their impressive speed, strength, and skills through various exercises, including wall jumps, tunnel crawls, bailouts, apprehension and much more,” K9s United wrote in a release.
The “Top Dog” prize was awarded to K9 Cairo and Sgt Matt Waddington of Columbia County Sheriff’s Office.
