A Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department engineer was arrested and later resigned after multiple people said he groped a woman while working the Jelly Roll concert at Jacksonville’s VyStar Veterans Memorial Arena in November , according to Times-Union news partner First Coast News .
The arrest report said 60-year-old Miguel Dipierri was working the concert in his fire department uniform on Nov. 23 when a woman also staffing the event told police he walked by her several times, using his arm “in an apparent intentional way to touch her breasts.”
The woman, 30, told police she felt uncomfortable by his actions and moved to an area closer to other employees. The report says Dipierri then walked by her and groped her again.
According to the report, the woman attempted to report him to police but stopped due to Dipierri standing near her.
A witness told police they saw Dipierri “brush up” against the woman several times. The report said the witness then described several instances where Dipierri reached his arm and hand out intentionally to touch the woman’s breast and buttocks area, seeing a look of concern “immediately” on the woman’s face.
