Jacksonville Reels from Multiple Fatal House Fires, Investigations to Unveil Causes

A series of house fires in Jacksonville has culminated in tragedy, with one woman losing her life and multiple people, along with their pets, being displaced. Earlier yesterday, a fire broke out in the 2700 block of Northeastern Avenue, which resulted in the death of Tiffany Hibbs, 30. The Jacksonville Police Department and Jacksonville Fire Department were dispatched to the scene around 6:00 a.m., arriving to heavy smoke that initially prevented a thorough search. It was not until firefighters could douse the flames that they discovered Hibbs already deceased, THV11 reports.
