JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Set in the wilds of 1880s Wyoming, the story of “Rust,” a movie that premieres on streaming and in theatres on May 2, follows Lucas Hollister (played by newcomer Patrick Scott McDermott), a young man who accidentally kills a rancher and is sentenced to hang. But just when all hope seems lost, his estranged grandfather — legendary outlaw Harland Rust, played by Alec Baldwin — shows up and breaks him out of jail.
