The Jackson boys had an excellent showing in the Class 2A state track and field meet on Friday, with hurdler Nieko Garnes winning one individual event and helping out on the champ 4×400 relay team.
Garnes and the Tigers did enough for a third-place finish with 39 points, ahead of Raines and Montverde in fourth (38) during the first of two days of state action at UNF’s Hodges Stadium.
On the girls side, Bolles finished third (39) and Jackson (35) was fourth in the team standings…
