JACKSONVILLE, FLA – Severe storms have ended, but thunderstorms will linger over southern Georgia as they track north away from Jacksonville.
This second act of today’s wet weather performance will spin down overnight. However, in Southeast Georgia, a few scattered showers may linger well into the overnight hours.
Another round of late night showers is also possible overnight potentially developing over the eastern Gulf of Mexico. If this activity organizes, it could approach the Florida Big Bend and Nature Coast regions closer to sunrise on Sunday, particularly between 4 and 7 AM and work toward inland north Florida in the morning.
