Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) District 1 patrol officers responded swiftly around noon today to 911 calls reporting an armed and mentally disturbed man making threats against his neighbors at an apartment building downtown.
Upon arrival, officers quickly located the man’s vehicle and surrounded it. Given the busy location, officers carefully approached the vehicle and safely took the man into custody without incident.
