Revlon to close manufacturing facility on Jacksonville’s Westside, lay off 127 employees

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Revlon, the beauty products company, announced it will be closing its manufacturing facility on Jacksonville’s Westside, according to a Worker Adjustment and Retraining Notification Act (WARN) letter.

According to the May 16 letter, the facility’s closure will result in 127 employees being permanently laid off.

In the WARN letter to the Florida Department of Commerce, Revlon said layoffs at the facility on Overmyer Drive will start on July 18 and will continue for the next three months…
