Off-duty nurse performed CPR on 6-year-old found unresponsive in St. Augustine community pool: report

ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. – A 6-year-old who was airlifted to a hospital on Saturday after a near-drowning in a St. Augustine community pool was given CPR by an off-duty nurse on scene, according to the incident report obtained by News4JAX.

The incident report states that the nurse, who was at the community pool on Silver Forest Drive, performed CPR on the child and applied an automated external defibrillator (AED) that was provided by employees.
