The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is currently investigating a shooting that left a man in critical condition on the city’s Mid-Westside. As reported by First Coast News, the incident occurred yesterday afternoon around 2:45 p.m. in the 2100 block of West 13th Street. The victim was reportedly sitting in his carport when he was approached from behind and shot by two individuals.
Suspects were seen fleeing the scene in a black sedan, with police yet to release a detailed description of the suspects or their vehicle. Found in critical condition but stable, the man was transported to the hospital from behind the house he was sitting in front of.
