JSO Arrests Suspect in Deadly 2015 Cold Case Jewelry Store Robbery

JACKSONVILLE, FL – The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office (JSO) Cold Case Unit has announced a major breakthrough in a nearly decade-old investigation, resulting in the arrest of 34-year-old Radariaus McGauley.

On November 19, 2015, McGauley and 24-year-old Kurt Dean entered a jewelry store on Edgewood Avenue with the intent to commit a robbery. During the attempted crime, the store owner shot Dean, who later died from his injuries. McGauley fled the scene.
