Gusty winds up to 23 mph are expected, raising travel concerns on I-95 and local highways, where downpours could lead to slick roads and reduced visibility.
Flooding and Boating Concerns
Localized flooding may impact low-lying coastal areas if heavy rain bands set up along the shore. Officials also warn that boating on the St. Johns River could become hazardous, as thunderstorms bring sudden lightning strikes and rough waters.
