Jacksonville Sheriff Warns of Scammers Impersonating Officers, Faking Jury Duty Notices

The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is warning residents about a new scam in which fraudsters impersonate law enforcement officers. Scammers contact people claiming they missed jury duty and even send text messages with official-looking images to appear convincing.
