JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Eight months after being ambushed and shot in the face at a Murray Hill intersection, a Callahan woman is sharing her story of survival for the first time.

Last February, Latasha Taylor’s life changed in an instant. What was supposed to be a simple night out turned into chaos when police say she was shot at a stoplight near Post and McDuff Avenue in Murray Hill.
