An 11-year-old Middleburg girl on an electric scooter suffered serious injures in an accident with a school bus Friday morning in Clay County, according to the Florida Highway Patrol.
The bus was on Pine Ridge Parkway approaching Creek Bluff Lane shortly after 8 a.m. Oct. 31, and the girl was riding on the sidewalk of Pine Ridge approaching the same intersection.
“As the school bus attempted a left turn onto Creek Bluff Lane, the pedestrian crossed Creek Bluff Lane causing the pedestrian to collide with the left front of the school bus,” according to the Highway Patrol crash report…
