The Florida Department of Health in Duval County (DOH-Duval) has issued a rabies advisory. This follows the confirmation of a rabid raccoon in Jacksonville, near Foxhaven Drive, on November 24, 2025. Health officials are reminding residents and visitors that rabies remains a risk among wild animals in the area.
