JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – M.A.D. D.A.D.S., the community advocacy group known for fighting against crime in Jacksonville for more than 20 years, announced its dissolution on Monday, leaving some members blindsided by the decision.
In a news release, the M.A.D. D.A.D.S Jacksonville Chapter said its Board of Directors voted to dissolve the organization, effective Dec. 31, 2025.
“As the landscape of community service continues to evolve, the Board has made the intentional decision to step back and allow emerging organizations and new leadership to rise and meet the growing needs of the community.
