JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The search continues into the third day for a missing Jacksonville boater who disappeared on the St. Johns River over the weekend.
According to a Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office missing persons report, 69-year-old Thomas Davis told his wife he was heading out Sunday afternoon for a quick check of his boat’s engine. Investigators say the trip was not expected to take long.
Hours later, Davis’s boat was found floating adrift on the St. Johns River near NAS Jacksonville. Aboard were his cellphone and Apple Watch, but there was no sign of Davis and nor his boat’s keys…
