Jacksonville city government offices and facilities will be closed in observance of Christmas and New Year’s Day. Services will be unavailable tomorrow, on Thursday and January 1, 2026. Closures include City Hall at St. James, the Ed Ball Building, and the Duval County Courthouse.
The city advises that garbage, recycling, and yard waste collection will run on schedule tomorrow, December 31, and January 1, 2026. Collections will not take place on Thursday and will resume on Saturday. The 630-CITY Customer Service Center will be closed on certain dates, but services can still be requested online.
