JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is investigating a shooting near the Pinecrest subdivision in the Normandy Estates area.
The agency alerted the community about the shooting at around 5 p.m., due to officers blocking the neighborhood entrance on Guardian Drive, off Normandy Boulevard. Guardian Drive remained blocked for multiple hours as police investigated, before reopening fully shortly before 8 p.m.
