Three Injured in Late-Night Shooting at Jacksonville Tipsy Bar and Grill, Suspect Arrested

Yesterday morning, the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office responded to a shooting at the Tipsy Bar and Grill around 3:30 a.m. Three people were injured by gunfire after a dispute inside the establishment escalated. According to police reports, one individual involved in the altercation produced a firearm, resulting in injuries to a security guard and two patrons.

Another security guard intervened by quickly tackling the suspect to the ground, restraining him until police arrived, according to First Coast News. The three individuals injured in the shooting, all in their 20s, were transported to a nearby hospital and remain in stable condition. One woman sustained an ankle wound, a man was shot in the lower back, and the security guard was injured in the rear.

A suspect has been taken into custody following the shooting at the Tipsy Bar and Grill. The Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office is continuing its investigation, reviewing shell casings and surveillance footage from the scene, as per News4Jax.
