JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — A man is recovering after being shot in the face while sitting inside his car in broad daylight on Jacksonville’s Westside, according to the Jacksonville Sheriff’s Office.
The shooting happened just after 4:15 p.m. Monday in the 1600 block of Guardian Drive, in the Pinecrest neighborhood.
Police say officers arrived to find an adult man with a gunshot wound to the face. Investigators say the victim was seated inside his vehicle when an unknown suspect opened fire, then fled the area. No suspect description was immediately released…
