JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — After an extensive multi‑day search for a missing boater on the St. Johns River, Thomas Palmer Davis’ memory was honored with a celebration of life. Davis was 69.
Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission (FWC), Jacksonville Fire Rescue Department and U.S. Coast Guard crews had been combing the river near Naval Air Station Jacksonville since Davis was last seen on Dec. 14.
