JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — Naval Station Mayport announced on Wednesday that the base received two top Navy awards.
NS Mayport said in a press release that the awards recognize the base for its “outstanding performance ensuring Navy readiness around the clock.”
The first merit, the 2025 Shore Battle Efficiency Award, recognizes Navy installations for their ability to generate and support combat forces, while the second, the 2026 Installation Excellence Award, recognizes overall performance that is “consistent with Shore enterprise strategic goals,” the release says…
