Former School Bookkeeper in Nassau County Arrested After Stealing $100K+

NASSAU COUNTY, Florida – The Nassau County Sheriff’s Office has arrested a former Nassau County School District bookkeeper following an investigation into the alleged theft of more than $100,000 from Hilliard Middle-Senior High School over a span of several years.

Jennifer Lynn Folliett, 46, of Hilliard, was taken into custody Tuesday, January 27, and charged with organized fraud, grand theft, and official misconduct.

The investigation began in February 2025 after the Nassau County School Board reported suspected financial irregularities involving school funds, including potential misuse of the school’s Amazon account.
