NASSAU COUNTY, FLORIDA, Fla. — Drivers should drive carefully in West Nassau, as deputies warn that in one area power lines were downed due to weather conditions.
Deputies from Nassau County Sheriff’s Office said Saturday night that multiple roads had to be shut down due to weather conditions damaging power lines in the West Nassau area.
According to deputies, the impacts affected
- Middle Road at the intersection of Dutch Trail
- River Road at the intersection of Wright’s Dairy Road
- U.S. 90 near Log Road 21
- Armstrong Road in Callahan
“Deputies on scene anticipate more closures throughout the night,” the sheriff’s office said. “Drivers are urged to stay off the roads as crews work to reopen the impacted areas.”…
