Cold weather brought a busy weekend for firefighters across Northeast Florida who dealt with everything from house fires to burst pipes to a brush fire that caused evacuations for 20 homes.
The Jacksonville Fire and Rescue Department said that from Friday night to Monday morning, during the frigid temperatures of the arctic blast that hit our area, crews responded to 15 working fires.
