JACKSONVILLE, Fla. — One person has been arrested for making a threat on social media Thursday night to carry out a school shooting at Mandarin High, Duval County Public Schools announced Friday morning. Officials said there is no longer a threat to the campus.
DCPS was reportedly alerted to the threat through the Fortify Florida app.
A DCPS spokesperson told First Coast News the Duval County School Police team investigated the threat overnight and arrested the person who made the post. Out of an abundance of caution, Principal Sara Bravo said there will be an increased police presence at Mandarin High on Friday…
