ORANGE PARK, Florida — An early morning shooting at an apartment complex in Orange Park has resulted in the arrest of an 18-year-old suspect, according to the Clay County Sheriff’s Office.
On February 8, 2026, at approximately 1:00 a.m., deputies responded to reports of multiple gunshots at the Victoria at Orange Park Apartments on Wells Road. Upon arrival, officers found two individuals with gunshot wounds, who were subsequently transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries, stated the sheriff’s office.
The investigation revealed that the victims were outside the suspect’s apartment building when the suspect, identified as Dimond Crawford, began firing recklessly from inside his apartment.
